went for a ride yesterday

Had the day off yesterday, wasn't to cold out so I figured instead of sitting home n gettin drunk all day...I'd go for a ride.....so I took the good tires off he warrior n tossed on the stockers n prepared for the road trip....mainly all back roads but they're still paved n didn't wanna burn off my good tires....covered probly about 30-40 miles in 4 1/2 hours....made a few stops for a rest/beer break....didn't take many pictures but I did manage to catch a few by rosevalley lake on top of the mountain....its froze over for the winter....here's a few pics....

i stepped out on the ice but it was too slushy on top for my likins....

and 10 miles from home something poked a hole in my one front tire so that ended my day...babied it back home n called it a day...

yea it was cold....but it was like 30 degrees out..n i dont usually get to cold...i had on insulated carhartt overalls n jacket...insulated gloves and boots...helmet n a insulated camo scarf wrapped around my neck...there wasnt a second that i was cold while riding...

Ridin a sled is a lot warmer ....most all of them have heat grips n thumb warmer...n you can stick your feet up under the hood n they stay warm off of the motor heat...I take to the cold fairly well though...I seriously got colder while stooping for a beer break...

nice pics guys, i ride around in the cold, got my tires studded for the ice, even pull ice houses with the little thing, we just broke 2* F today, about a -25 to -30 degree wind chill out from last night until tonight
