kk ill give it a try this evening i think it will be pilot that is pluged and if there isnt a spring on the air screw would that mess things up ive already ran some seafoam thru the gas so i dont think it would be a clogged main i will see this evening when i take apart the carb
Great idea to take apart the carb! While your taking it apart just get like a little pan and every part you take off the carb, put it in the pan filled with seafoam and high octane gas or whatever gas you have available
would not having that spring cause any problems?? and im pretty sure it will be my pilot that is clogged becasue thats the only jet that is workin on idle and it obvousily isnt working i dont have axcess to any smaller mains atm and that main is workin fine at higher rpms so everything points to the pilot lately when i try to kick start it i kick it about 3 times and it almost starts then does a loud backfire then it starts in a kick or 2 more
Just take it slow and don't lose any parts and you will be fine. Make sure you are working on a surface that you can find stuff on if you drop something. Concrete or put a tarp under it. I drop sh*t all the time and you don't want to do that on gravel or grass.
