Watch a 250cc bike overtake a GSX750 on the track I:I
Obviously the guys got skillz but the 2 bikes are closer in power then you think and the 250 only weighs 230lbs w/86hp vs the 750's 360lbs w/127hp

in races like this u can have the fastest bike with the sh*ttiest suspension setup/tires, in the world and lose everytime and if ur not comfortable with it u will not push it to the limit, guy def has skills on the 250, following the lines on the track and knowing ur course well has a big effect also. That's why we ride the track in the back of the truck before we run our races.

And if u want to see someone rip it up on a moriwaki 250 look up Peter Lenz man that kid could ride. Died at 12 on a wipe out and got ran over

^^ Agreed!
Here's a different vid with a GSX1000 chasing a 250.
Look at the lines the guy on the TZ lays down compared to the 1000.
The 1000 starts to reel him on the straights but can't stop fast enough or hold the line the 2 fiddy can :p

paulie- on my 600rr i got my ass handed to me on the corners by peter letnz, kid is 12 on a moriwaki 250, as i stated above, he threw that bike around a corner i had to trail brake on to get through, but he has a few more yrs in racing i did, but on the straights i was all up in his tail!! balls to the wall, also i rode the 250 for a few laps and wow, i can honestly tell you it is an overall blast to swing a bike thats half the weight of mine around the track, im telling you with the 250 i shaved 4 seconds off my time and i was still just feeling the bike out. i love vids like this, if i get to race this yr i will post some vids but i may be deployed.

Do it man I'll enjoy watching I:I

that was very cool, i was into it there like a playstation game! what is that--- a TZR250?

Here's a more specific answer to your question.
The TZ250 is a GP track bike.
It's not street legal or imported here so you will likely never see one.
The Yamaha banshee motor is 'loosely' based of it or you could say the TZ is a decades more refined RZ250 which has the exact same bottom end as a RZ350 which is the street version of a Banshee motor (hope that wasn't confusing)

Here's a sweet link to the machine check it out ;)
