in a small quiet town
im looking to buy a blaster. or rather trade my stand up jet ski for one its a 2000 blaster with alot of extra's its been dyno tested at 39hp im wondering if $1400 is to much for it or am i in the right ballpark.. here's some pics.. and here's what the listing says.

2000 yamaha race blaster custom everything 4 inch exteneded trenga swingarm, handlebars, headlights, paddle tires and a set of 18 in. track tires, works dualrate front shocks, wheel spacers , and a CT raceing engine package with LRD pipe/silencer 36mm pwk Air Striker carb k&n air filter set up with drag porting and runs on 106 octane race fuel its a solid 40 H.P. wich is more than double a standard blaster it is faster than my z400 its comparable with a 250r or a stock banshee and suspension is much improved over stock asking 1400 obo may consider tade for jetski

thanks you guys are really making me feel confident about this blaster.. as for if i've ever ridden b4 yes.. i've had banshee's to yz80 125 250 and ,grizzley just never owned a blaster thought it would be a fun toy.. ill post some pics when i pick it up..

detonation will occur and you will probably end up replacing a piston or at least a spark plug. see if you can find a new head that isnt shaved and put it on. that will bump the compression down a little so you can maybe get away with some 93 octane.
 
ok so if i change the head. i lower the compresion and i can get away with pump gas.. ok what compression should it be at now?? and what compression is good to run pump gas? i know i must sound like a complete ass. but i dont know much about these bike's.. now if it were a jetski i could tell you what the compression should be but on this im at a loss..so if i run pump gas you think ill blow it up?? or just foul some plugs and build up some carbon??
