Vito's Superstock Piston Kit

I dont have one but i doubt by itself it would add 5 hp. u would be better off with shaved head and a wiseco piston. or keep the piston you have throw in some more dough and get some port work done. u will be happier

money wise is weisco cheaper? or vitos? but which has the best review, all things you want to check, cheaper is not always better. but it comes down to how much you want to spend.

avoid those super scrap pistons ,i have dug hunks of those out of blaster lowends

i put the kit in mine on last rebuild and ive had luck with it so far, addid a little more power nothing extreme but noticable. the thinner gaskets act as a shaved head to give more compression, after about 10hrs of riding mine tested at 145lbs of compression, and from what im told vitos pistons are made by wiseco

I would also recommend the Wiseco piston for now; Vito has several new piston coming out soon. I do not like any piston the has the exhaust side cut to raise the exhaust port timing for several reasons.
I do cut the gasket surfaces; but would suggest that the combustion chamber be redesigned.
Some of Vito pistons are made by Wiseco
I have beaten up those cast Vito piston on the dyno without one failing as of now; but with those piston I always run the bottom and mid range rich by adjusting the needle clip position.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing. How is it possible to gain 3hp from just your gaskets. Isnt it crazy what some retailers will say to get thier product out there. LOL
