just discussed this today with ken, to figure out why it's a 1mm spacer for a 3mm stroker crank, seems it should be 1.5mm to lift the ports,
well it is 1.5mm .....with the thickness of the 2 gaskets

You only need 2 gaskets and a spacer. What crank do you have?

I have the 3 mm.but it has two spacers and two gaskets so I need a gasket in between. The two plates

should only be one plate bro... measuring 1mm across. then the two gaskets... you would need 3 gaskets with 2 plates

You only need 1 spacer with that crank,dunno why they would have sent you 2 spacers. Forget about using 2 spacers,you only need one.

Ok then that explains why the piston doesn't really hit top dead center
