the needle in the vitos jet kit is richer then stock, thats why they give you a small pilot because the needle is adding fuel at lower rpms where the pilot jet is working

Really? I didn't realize that. Makes sense. I still think that maybe making the main jet a little bit smaller might help. It is running really rich. I might move the needle up a touch too and see if that helps. I'm afraid to run it too lean though so probably won't. We'll see how the main jet affects performance.
i think u kit u got is for a 240 kit.....i have the same high numbered jets in the kit with my 240
