I have another engine im about to build its a 91 its together now and was running perfect when I took it out, but its been sitting a long time and I want to make it stronger, im thinking of going with the vitos so I can just use the spacer plate instead of having the cases trenched. my ques is are they good? are the known for leaking around the plate? and im not taking off the oil pump, ive never had an issue with them and if it aint broke don't fix it. so is the oil pump going to keep enough oil supplied to the engine with the stroker? anybody with knowledge or experience with that crank please chime in.

You don't need to trench the cases with the +3 with or without the spacer plate but you may need to file the cases a little bit for rod clearence. The way to get the most power out of the +3 is to have the motor ported to compliment it, if you send it to KOR (you need to send the whole engine) he will cut the head so you don't need to run the plate. Either way you need to run quality gaskets (Cometic or OEM) with 1184 sealer to prevent leaks.
