Okay guys, First of all i recently traded a blown kx80 for a Brand New stroker, and a new set of Vforce3's. When installing the crank i used the old bearings that the motor came with. Alot of you guys told me that it could lead to a big catastrophic failure using these old 89' bearings after i beated them out from my stock crank. So i ordered som Hot rod bearings and seals. Now, i was recently reading a thread about Vito's 3mil Vs. Hot rods 4mil. I was reading that these cranks dont hold too much and alot of members were saying that they will pick the 4mil over the 3mil. Im not true'ing or welding the crank, im going to do trails and some Drag. I ride these blaster's pretty hard trying to keep up with the Dirtbikes And other Blaster's lol. Now would this crank hold the abuse for my riding type? Im ordering my pston some time this week or the next.Im going to use the spacer plate because my cylinder is on its second to last bore. But ill be running a cut head for more Compression. Thank You guys for reading! Any input or Advice would be really good.:D

I've run one for 2 years now, no problems even siezed a piston to the cylinder for lack of breakin time, and still have no problems, It was trued by KOR but not welded. I also am building another blasty with the +3 set-up, I prefer not to have my cases trenched as you need to have with a +4. But you do give up some rod surface, where it connects to the crank it is machined down from factory, so you do not have to machine the cases. This makes it the weak link i suppose but I have beat the hell out of it with no issues at all.

It's been my experience that the +3mm vito's crankshafts, aside from concentricity issues I've heard tell of (again, heresay as I've never actually seen one run out), are as durable as the stock crankshafts they replace with the added benefit of the extra stroke without cutting away any valuable case sealing area.
