wat reeds should i get i was thinking vf3s but then i started looking at boyesen reeds and they are pretty cheap

VF3 are better, but if you are on a budget, you can get the boyeson reeds. then have your cage ported. there wont be much of a difference between the two, but VF3 are better, just cost more.

If your just looking into the reed pedals, V3's will only fit V3 cage. Boysen pedals (most) will fit your stock cage and the boysen cage.

I'd say go with the VF3's. I just got them and was surprised at the difference they made, I wasn't expecting to notice much of a difference at all.

with my 32 carb i couldn't get the v-force 3 reeds to fit? perfect reeds if your using a stock carb!!

i'll repeat noobs statement.......dude, what????? /\/\/\/\/\
read my mods

vf-3's have been used with every carb out there, and if you ever get a set, you'll forget that boysen even makes reeds

awwwww man, i think its more like if you tried my ported rad valve you would forget about the VF3's hahahaha I:I

I agree with Ride, I wasn't expecting any difference going to the VF3's from stock, but I was really suprised..... they really livened up my engine. Also to Super I was wonderin bout those rad valves....I've got practially a bone stock engine besides PJ carb and exhaust, but plan on modding up this winter while Im doing some brake conversions and some painting. what are the gains between the rad valve and VF3's?

i noticed a major low end gain with the rad valve, but wanted more on top also so thats why i opened it up more. after opening up the rad valve a decent amount i am extrememly pleased with it, lots of low end but flows plenty to have lots of top end. the other night at the track i was spinning my tires on 2nd gear launches on asphalt lol. i wont own anything else again, even when i upgrade to a LA sleeve cylinder i will be getting a new rad valve to fit. also keep in mind boyesen replacement reeds are about half as much money.
