Do you think Its ok to use Permatex Aviation-Form-A-Gasket? Its gas resistant.

I love this stuff. It worked great on my VF3s. Works better if you follow the directions (put on both surfaces and let dry before assembling)

I have another blasty that also has vf3's that arent leaking. I'll try swapping them.

When I got my cylinder ported by Wildcard, the break-in sheet he sent back with it suggested running a small amount of RTV on the reed cage. Apparently leaks there are pretty common. Better safe than sorry.
