Just got a blaster from a friend of mine im having problems starting it. It takes about 15 kicks to start and when it does it idles extremely high and the kill switch wont work. The compression seems fine, I've been told to set the float but dont know how any help would be greatly appreciated

Choke curcuit may have dirt in it.

Throttle cable may be tight, or wrongly adjusted.

The idle setting may be wrongly adjusted.

You could be sucking air, do a leak down test.

Take off the carb and give it a good clean, check the jet sizes and write them down for future reference.

Set your float level

.Do some searching, and some reading, you will find lots of great info by using the search function.

Try this one for a start.

Blaaster has given you a lot of good info and a link. Do some reading and testing and let us know what you come up with. Make sure you have a 230 main jet and a 32.5 pilot.
