I recently bought a 06 Blaster. On the first day oil was coming out of a vent tube by the handle bars,followed the tube to the engine case right by the oil ejection pump. What would cause this? possible clog?
most likely the transmission was over filled with oil. any time you buy a new vehicle i would recommend changing the oil anyway, so drain out what's in it, and fill it with the proper 650ml of oil
Thanks that was the problem. It had 900 c/m of oil in the trans. Now there's a knocking sound. Would over filling the crank case with oil cause problems with the top end?
if the tranny is overfilled, it can cause the engine to fell like it wont rev up like it should. but the tranny and crank are sealed off from extra other.
