Valve lash adjustment on a Single Overhead Cam 4 valve engine is about as easy as they get.
You remove the inspection covers (the two round things on the front and back of the rocker cover) and roll the engine over until you get off the intake stroke. You then use a bent end feeler gauge, a 10mm wrench, and a flat blade screwdriver. First, loosen the jamnut with the 10mm wrench 1/4 turn and use the flat blade to unscrew the adjuster screw just a touch (1 turn). Insert the correct thickness feeler gauge in between the adjuster screw and the valve stem end (this is why you turn the adjuster out 1 turn, to make more room and make it easier to see).
Put the box end of the 10mm on the jamnut and then use the flat blade screwdriver to tighten the adjuster screw until the screw is VERY lightly pinching the feeler gauge. From there, tighten the jam nut up to within 1/2 turn from being completely tight (so you won't have far to go once the adjuster is in the correct place to jam it using the jamnut).
Once you know that the adjuster screw is 1/4 turn off the proper lash, you can use the screwdriver to turn the adjuster screw 1/4 turn tighter and then hold it there while you tighten the jamnut.
Roll the engine over so that it's not on the exhaust stroke and repeat!
