Found a complete Blaster for $200. It runs but the rod and crank are loose. It is all stock in every way. Steel wheels and the original or original style tires. Anyway I was contemplating buying it for some of the parts I need for mine then parting it out. Is $200 a fair price or should I look a little more?

Depending on the parts you take off to use on yours I would think you would have no trouble getting your $200.00 back. Check eBay and you can see what parts are going for there or you can sell them here.

What year is it?

It is a 2001. Cable operated brakes, TORS still there. I don't think the engine had ever been apart.

I only need thumb throttle, left front fender, stator cover and some small parts for mine. I have a twist throttle and a rough looking stator cover to put back on it so it would still be complete except for the fender.

Got the parts Blaster this evening. Tore into it and was pretty pleased with what I got for the money. Got my parts in a pile with the other one and will further inspect this one. Piston was scored and the rod is loose just as he told me it was.

You can pay a little as $4.00 to become a supporting member. Then you can use the for sale and wanted boards.

yeah man 200 is a hell of a deal, u could sell the frame for 150 at least and the complete motor for 300 easy, carb 50 bux no problem, plastics 75 easy, and the list goes on man, buy it

Wow you got your self a great deal, was this by any chance on Craigslist?

No it wasn't on Craigslist. I know the service guy at the local dealer. He used to race and I hit him up if he knew where I could come up with some parts for mine. He took me out and showed me a Blaster he had inherited and was willing to sell me what I needed. Then said $200 for the whole thing. I penciled out what he was wanting for individual parts versus the whole thing and it was a no brainer. Still wasn't sure and that is why I posted the question here.

When I tore into it last night I knew it was a good decision. Just never know these days till you get it apart.
