what do vf3s do. does it give u more power and better throttle response. are they worth it cause if they are im gonna get them

if youre running stock reeds with your 240 kit then i think its time to upgrade. but they let more gas into your engine. + gas/air= + power....

At least upgrade to a set of Boyesen power reeds or Vito's dual petals. On a flow bench Vforce 3's 4 face design flows more air than a two face design but the price is much higher than a replacement set of reed petals will run you.

If money is an issue go with a replacement set of dual petals reeds in your stock cage and rock on.

i have v force delta 2s and i personally dont see the big deal with 4 petals and reed stops.

More petals mean they have to open less to flow the same amount of air, consequently they can move the shorter distance faster. This reduction of acceleration rate (positive and negative) makes them respond faster, giving better throttle response. It's not so much that they make more power, but that they make it quicker, and quick is GOOD.

Yes, they also flow more total, making a bit more power, but you are less likely to notice that.

Also, at high RPM's the less a petal has to open the heavier they can make the petals. The heavier the petal the less chance there is for flutter.
