does anyone know if this rear snap in part of the v-forces is needed for proper operation, it wouldnt fit into my intake cause it has some nozzle lookin thing on mine, so i left it out, but thinkin this may be part of my tuning troubles?????

awk did u cut off the rubber tab on the intake to allows that plastic peice to fit in right.....it shouldve been in the directions

i did see them directions about cutting off that part of the stock intake, thats what the little bolts and washers were for, sldie a hacksaw blade in, ect, ect
but i have a pro-design billet base intake, it's just a flat billet plate with the rubber intake boot bolted to it, it doesnt have that part to cut off, but this piece that snaps into the back of the reed cage does have that curved nozzle lookin thing that wont fit into my intakes hole, so i either have to port the billet base or cut the nozzle from the v-f part?????

pro design billet base intake, 34mm pj, no spacer needed, clutch arm just misses the carb

yes the half moon piece wouldnt fit into my intakes port, left it in the box, prolly gonna have to figure out a way to use it, cut the half moon off or open up the intake's hole

awk is it the little halt moon piece on the reed cage that goes in to the boot???? if it is cut it off....i pic would help man

no i got a 34mm boot that bolted on to the billet base my stock boot was on, so i'm guessin i dont have the intake for the vf3's,
i'll get pics tomorrow

awk u have the intake that is meant for the stock reeds........pro design makes a special one just for the vforce reeds

/\/\/\/\ where do i get the proper one???? or should i go with the new intake v-force makes if available for a blaster???

nah that intake is for stock bro.., but awk im sure u can make it work somehow.. mod it up abit to workI:I

i dont understand why it wont work

i did look at this situation while installing all this, the half moon thingy is to big to fit into my bases hole, so i put the 34mm boot up to this hole and the bases hole is bigger than the 34mm boot, just to be sure puttin the bigger boot on a base that was made for a stock carb would work, i didnt wanna put a bigger boot on a base with a smaller hole that would still give me stock flow, but it all looked ok, till this half moon thing made an appearence, but i didnt see what it's purpose was so chucked it back into the box, so looks like i'll grind and dremel this billet base out to accept the left out piece
and update my results with some pics
