Upgradeing plastic.

I bought all new plastic and like the newer headlight and hood set up. What do i need to buy besides the hood to convert my 2001 blaster to the newer style.

I have not ordered my hood yet because i want to make this happen. Will the newer hood fit with my old style tank cover??

I know i should need the newer style headlight braket and not sure what else. If anyone has done this let me know the best way to make it happen??

Go to "body", second sticky down "plastic swap" page 3 , 5th responce down. That's the best I can do I'm computer illiterate

THX sandkind, I guess I need the headlight and bracket the hood and some engineering of a bracket. I just like the look. The old style light aint so hot to me. I need the hood anyways so maybe i need to find a headlight and JUST DO IT,,lol

You could use the old style hood and use a billet handlebar clap set up with light mounts. Look into trailtech lights.

you dont really NEED a new headlight you could just fence off the hole with some sheet metal and it will cost alot less and it will still look good

Got to have a headlight, I ride at night from time to time especially when winter sets in.

there is one on ebay right now that is still pretty cheap and I think it only has like a day left. I'm computer illiterate too so just search yamaha blaster headlight. they usually go for 50 or so on egay
