Upgrade Shocks

I just bought a 2001 blaster with a K&N filter and a FMF gold pipe and silencer but it has stock shocks. I am new to the 2 stroke quads and the race type of quads.... only have had 4x4 4 strokes. I would like to start out with a shock upgrade but don't know what a good set would be or cost. They don't have to be the best but just something that would give a better ride than stock. This is for my 15 yr old daughter so she will be riding it around and maybe to the track one of these days. Thanks for any help!!

banshee front shocks are a better upgrade than stock.....check ebay, they always have deals on works or mabe some elkas

i run banshee fronts and a 400ex rear, tons better than stock and i think ive got $75ish into both.

hows it goin ppl i have a quick question i inherited a 01 blaster and it rides pretty stiff its not a cadillac like my ltr450r.i wanna change the suspension out does anyone know if an ltr450 rear shock would fit and bolt pretty much right up at all.i found a real good deal on ebay for the shock.but would like to know if i can use first. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

I think that would have to be modded to fit and would probably raise your rear end up^^^^

those shocks are huge, i dont even think it would be worth it. look for some used works shocks or somethin.

The ltr shock would be like putting a truck shock in the blaster. The ltr is wayyyyyyyyy heavier than the blaster, 400ex or works is the way to go. you can get an 400ex shock for under $30 on ebay, and kenoconnorracing.com has custom bushings and a video to install them, well worth the upgrade.
