The van will be in the fond du lac county fair demo derbys the end of this month!!! Not joking!! Took the van to the track friday, an ran a blistering 17.6 @ 75 mph 1/4 mile!!! I have NEVER owned anything with a v8 that slow!!
On the way home I raced my wifes stock suburban an she beat me!! I was pissed!!!! SOo I sent a text to a buddy with a car I been after for a while, so saturday he brought it over along with $150 cash an he took the van home!!!
Got a 68 ford falcon sedan, satin black, 200 straight 6 3 speed auto trans, lowered like 4 inches all the way around, not gonna do much with it, put my woogaa horn in it and red metal flake the roof, an it will be a decent old school cruiser, for cruising the strip, local car shows an the drive in,
The mazda will be doing double duty from now on, daily driver an track toy! Starting to make hanges to it gettin ready for the next track date, as it sits the 626 has intake, an high flow 2 1/4 exhaust, which hopong to have headers an 2.5" exhaust before the next track date...
