ummmm

that exhaust will perform just fine on a stock motor, i've tried it, then will allow you to grow all the way to a modded 240cc kit

i run an old individual cone trinity, it rocks !!!!
on my stockish black bike, or my fully modded 200cc cylinder on my white bike

this is the same pipe as the F7/ct/trinity
all made by the "power pro's" company

you will notice a huge gain in the mids/top end
but the FMF is hard to beat for low/mids

all depends on your riding style and area which is better for you

Would i need a modded motor to run this exhaust? or woul i be fine with vf3 reeds, k&n air filter and the proper jetting? also will it be much more of a improvment over fmf?

I believe that you will find that ANY pipe with CORRECT JETTING will give you an improvement in power. CORRECT JETTING is the "KEY" regardless of the pipe you choose. Even a stock pipe will benefit from properly chosen jetting.

Don't get sucked into the right bend, left bend debate.

Trinity is FAMOUS for boasting about dyno figures to sell they're parts. Its as bad a vito's 5HP "power piston"... yea right.

I don't know if you are required to have a spark arrester where you live, but its something you may have to consider.

That price on the pipe in the link is a good price. If you decide to get it,be sure to check the welds for pin hole leaks/poor welds. I've heard that there can be issues.

One other thing...please don't buy a pipe because it "looks cool",or "sounds cool". you'll be cheating yourself.

Purchase a pipe that will create more power with proper jetting! It would suck to drop all the cash on that pretty chromed right hand bend pipe only to get your a$$ handed to you by another blaster that has rusted, scroungy looking FMF and correct jetting.

In my opinion,I would also carefully consider the FMF. A very good pipe! If it was me,and knowing what I know,I would pull that cylinder and head, and send them off to get an "Aggresive Trail" port, and a rechambered head. Just the head alone is impressive! Ask me how I know.

I do my own porting and head mod. This isn't my stuff, but is a good read...

to compare trinity's claims about this pipe to the "vito's junk" is ludicrous
quite a few of us on here run the very similar right bends, and absolutely luv them

i also find it hard to believe the results of this pipe shootout (below) were "fixed"
as i'm sure FMF and other "big name"
company's provide the magazines with far more advertising dollars than trinity does

the results show the trinity pipe among the top
HP #'s, and chosen as the favorite among the skilled aggressive riders on an mx track......hands down:

you are quite correct about proper jetting as the key to making any pipe perform "everywhere" from top to bottom, as the trinity has proven to do, on both my bikes

i liked it far better than the LRD i had on the stockish bike, not as hard of a "hit" but pulled why longer

i also liked the trinity far better than the dyno-port i tested it against on my highly modded bike
(although i did not "jet down" as the DP pipe wanted,
btw... it is also asking for leaner main jetting on my stockish bike now)

the trinity pipe rocks !!!!
ask me how i know ?

If some one had a +4mm stroker crank, L.A. 240 bbk, vf3 reeds, port and polish, 36mm carb, just everythiong done, would this exhaust be good? because its about the best ive seen because they dont make many anymore?

Its a really really good stock bend pipe. The construction and the welds are very good. Not to mention how good it looks and awesome it sounds! But a right hand bend pipe will perform slightly better because it has one less bend in the expansion chamber.
