um oil injection help...

hey,for the oil injection removal,do i need to take the little gear out of the carb, or can i just take it off (the oil box) plug up the holes (that had lines to them) and just premix,i no on my old blasty its was premix,but when we bought it there was no tank on it.

there is no gear in the carb.... there is a gear behind your clutch cover on the backside of the oil pump. i took that gear off, blocked off the lines and re installed with a new gasket.

uhhh, you cant miss it. if you take your clutch cover and oil injection cover off there is a little white plastic sh*tty gear attached to the back. take it off and the shaft that is in there also. then put the covers back on with new gaskets, block off the pump in/outlets and most importantly block off the hole in the carb where the oil line was attached. i dont have a pic but if you search here there is more that one DIY with pics.
