I found a pair of almost new turf tamers. Are these tires any good? I'm use to Holeshots... We do trail riding and gravel pits.

I run turf tamers on mine. They work pretty decent but there a softer tire, so they'll probably wear faster then holeshots

well i have this opinion on turf tamers i dont care if u knock it but i think turf tamers suck for trail riding i think they would be good for hard packed tracks but not for trails with dirt leaves sticks rocks and stumps so that my opinion

for soft dirt do not get them. they spin the whole time i had them and believe me they suck for soft sh*t and even on a somewhat hard track they aren't that great id stick with holeshots finally i broke down and bout 9 in. itp chrome rims and put holeshots on them

It's a really old tire. That was what every racer used in the early 80's. Till holeshots came out. It's still a decent all around tire. But they cannot compare to holeshots or their copies. Just my opinion.
TORKER.

My opinion on Tamers is yes they are a great tire.
They are inexspencive and hook up good.
Peeps to this day cut them and run them in 300ft drags.
I would actually consider them and of course razors to be the top 5 tires for quads of all time.
