trx250r has spark but wont start

i put on the stator i got from morgan and it has spark but wont run we put gas where the spark plug goes and nothing what could it be?

check the compression? Did you line up the fly wheel with the key?

did you flood it? is it getting fuel? compression?? fresh plug??

fresh plug,check reeds,carb is all cleaned up?

new plug cleaning carb soon and checking the rings soon also

the top end is in great condition and rings are good but they wont move they are sticky is that from the coolant and all in it and it setting like that?

wait wait...did it sit with coolant in the cylinder? if so, that could be an issue. have you checked the compression with a gauge???

did you see or smell any gas on the fresh plug? if it is wet i would then check the timing on the stator plate, make sure that it lines up right.

there is like coolant or something that was in it when we opened it but we dont know for sure it was sticky and whitish in color also i have pics i can send to someone so they can help

if the rings are sticky i'd bet its top end time

no it doesnt need bored they over lap like the should their is that sticky stuff i think it is old coolant mixed with the gas and oil and that is it because the walls look pretty good piston great and the rings look good but i might need to try and move them and they will be fine
