First of all I take full responsibility for the blown up motor. Here's a little background. I bought a blaster over a year ago for my daughter. It was my first blaster and the guy I bought it from seemed really knowledgable. It always started right up and ran great. The bike was supposedly just rebuilt ( aren't they all ) and had a pro circuit pipe . I kept the filter clean, chain lubed, bearings greased , and trans fluid changed . Well a month ago my daughter and her friend were riding it when it quit. Well it turns out the piston broke and the skirt disappeared inside the motor. So I sent it off to Ken OConnor , and he fixed me right up !!!. I got the motor yesterday and put it in today. I decided to check the jet and it had a 230 ! So to recap I unknowingly let her ride the blaster for over a year with a pipe and only a 230 jet ! I'm such a dumbass, 5 minutes and a couple of bucks for a jet change would've prevented this tragedy. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU ! DON'T TRUST A PRIVATE SELLERS WORD, CHECK FOR YOURSELF !! To make matters worse, I learned enuff from this site to know that I should've checked the jetting so that makes me twice the dumbass. Go ahead and flame me, I deserve it but I posted this to hopefully save someone else the same headaches .
