Truck Mufflers.

To me, that sounds like crap. I go for the tone of the exhaust.not for how loud it is. I've seen many people take there muffler off and think there ride sounds cool because it's louder. It just sounds like a POS with no muffler to me.

you just described one of the "16 years old got my first vehicle mentalities"

#1 Mediocre truck wrecked with sh*tty body lifts and obnoxious exhaust

#2 Piece of sh*t cavalier, with a fart can (thrush muffler) a home made body kit, and a BLITZ or NOS sticker on the back window, With sometimes the added option of pure douchebaggary, rattlecanned flat black

i hear ya, tone is always great to, yeah sometimes no cat and no muffler does sound obnoxious, but its also the type of motor. some sound great on some motors then others sound like crap, but i like to be heard, so tone isnt my biggest idea at the moment

those 3 in tips? get 4 inchers, run 45s and put tubing in place of your muffler, sounds great, but if you got the extra cash, run 3 inch tubing from the cats or headers, your choice, with the tips, you wont regret it... heres a sample.

this guys runnin 3 in tubing with 5 in diesel tips, id go with 4s but your choice Silverado True Dual Exhaust!! And Playing in the SNOW - YouTube

That makes as much sense as a poopy flavored lolli pop!

First of all unless its a diesel theres absolutely no benefit and will hurt performance going to 3in pipe.2.5 max and on a sbc youd benefit from about 2in for scavenging effects. If you want a good sounding setup you need an x or h pipe a set of muffs and it all needs to work together.Theres no reason to modify sh*t if youre going to hurt performance and gain nothing but weight savings in your wallet.

No offense but that is the worst sounding v8 ive ever heard under a load it sounds like two wore out hondas with fart cans and you probably lost a good deal of torque if that above is your setup.

On my 4.6's i run X pipes since they help in the upper rpms and on my windsors i run H pipes for the low end help since these two motors make power in different areas.just make sure you dont waste your money on garbage and get no performance.

Don't forget to upgrade your sound system so you can turn it up real loud to hear it over the exhaust drone in the cab.

Alrighty back on subject. I want as loud as I can go with a nice tone, i think I will add a H pipe in there since I will haul a trailer (did today) I think I'll get the dynomax bullets, cheap and loud with a great tone.

Anyone got a link to show how to make the o2 sensor deletes

Heres a link to a walk around while its running. The dang thing takes probably 20 minutes of idle time to get to like 180 so i didnt want to crack it open while it was cold.

Heres the description!
It's got true dual with flowmaster mufflers out the back with sine big tips. Weird it's Louder then in video it's like the camera blocked it out over the sound if the fuel pump.

It's not anything special, it's my truck I have for when in a few months I turn 16. Not cleaned up or anything for the vid.

nothing wrong with what you got now, i say save your money. looks like a clean truck though!

Thanks, my dad likes the tone. But he is in his late 40's and is more of the little bit of tone kinda guy if you get what im saying.

personally i think everyone should be a tone guy, would be a lot better sounding roads. Nothing irks me more then laying in bed trying to sleep and some ahole with some punched muffler ranger running through town sounding like a helicopter turning up

Lol, i like tone also thats why im trying to find a nice muffler instead of just running straight pipes but i also want loud.

Im sure when i age a little bit i will go quieter but im sure you were not thinking that when you were 16 lol.

Ya, im consider myself blessed even tho i didnt get it ready to drive.

It will be a nice ride for me. It shoule get around atleast 15mpg. I will mostly use it in town but my dad has a tohoe and he has been using it like a pickup for ever. Straps come along chains etc behind the 3rd seat. He buys and sales cars out of our front yard a little and drive to the city often to buy and look at them etc. So he is gonna use this pickup when he does that so he doesnt have to get his newer nicer truck high miles and over work it.
