troubles

sounds like u need a rebuild,go buy some top and bottom cylinder gaskets , take the head and cylinder off and check it out .
if everything is all good in there put it back together with the new gaskets ,
if not save the gaskets and rebuild it
 
but it had just been rebuilt before i got it and the guy thought that was the problem but it was the carb wasnt given up gas and i fixed it and now so its got like 10 hrs or so on rebuild
 
well when i bought mine the guy said it had a fresh rebuild on it with about 4-5 hours and i popped it the first day out so id tear it down and check it out ,maybe u fried your rings or something better safe than sorry
 
idk if its anything like a car but my buddys coil on his honda was going bad and it had spark out of the cylinder but when it was under compression it lost spark but idk if its the same for a 2 stroke
 
what's the plug look like? are you sure the carb is jetted correctly?
and also, sorry to ask this, but it needs to be eliminated; you've got the killswitch in the "run" position, right?
and the petcock is set to "on"?
 
yes i have the on switch on and the gas on and thats the one im buying from 89custom and heres some pics i took the head of and the coil sanded the points where it conects and puled the end of the wire off and sniped a lil bit to get some fresh wire and the head looks great and the pisten has some burnt oil on if i took the whole jug off could i reuse the gaskit or is it not copper and i have a vid of it sputering at start then dying dono if it will help and theres a lil oil spot on the concret and its coming out of the exaust is it normal

Dont use any gasket, they are like 10 bucks maybe a little more for new ones, it doesnt even make sense to reuse them unless you are in some emergency
 
well the carb had been rebuilt the same time the moter was rebuilt so it has like 5 to 10 hrs on it i took the cover off where the flywheel is and there is white stuff everwhere dose this mean anything bad contetions on stater plate and theres not too much gas or it would foul the plug the plug is just fine so the jet is outa question and how can i check if the spark gose out when under compresino
