You'll have to see what the compression is after the top end back together. Do a leak down test also to make sure the engine is leak free

Most of the CT240 run on a mix of 50% pump gas and 50% race gas. Thats how mine is, but i run just race gas! You could also send the head to Ken and he can work it so you can use just pump gas.

Did you open it up to see if there is a stroker crank?

Yeah I also bought frame with rear swing arm and nerf bars and all the plastics for 120$ a couple weeks ago from the same guy
