Well i got it running good finaly first ride on it after getting it 5 months ago. But when im riding it I cant get it to shift any higher than second gear and it goes into nutrule easy and first is a little hard to get in to but if its not running i cant get it through all the gears by rocking back and forth. I put it on jack stands and it went through all the gears easy with out a load on it but even on jack stands its hard to get into first. Any ideas any help is great cause I have no idea and the cluth is working good to. Thanks in advance.:-/X(

My new blaster had this same issue only i couldnt get passed 3rd gear.ended up being a broken shift drum that was binding not allowing it to shift up higher.also found i had a bent shift lever shaft.i split the cases 3 times in one night before catching that finally.

Check external shift mechinism, pull clutch cover to do so. Possibly bent shaft worn claw, spring, loose shift star (older non welded models). All other issues will require splitting cases.

There are alot of reason for a tranny to do that.
You could have:
bent shift forks
worn shift dogs
shift mechanism out of adjustment

Some less likely ones are:
a bent shift shaft
broken/binding shift drum
clutch not disengaging all the way

its gunna be one of those things where you just have to eliminate part by part there are many things but start on the outside then if you have to split the cases
