i went riding its always popped out of forth and went into nuetral. but today it got stuck in nuetral and wouldnt go into another gear finally it worked but its goin into nuetral alot i think its the clutches or something any ideas????X(

Shift forks? Shift star? Clutches shouldnt cause it to stay in nuetral.

I had the same problem while I was at silver lake. Thats why I swapped my motors out. I think it is the shift forks, but I'm not sure, I haven't had time to split the cases yet. If you figure it out before I do let me know.

shouldnt have to split the cases, pull the cluthc cover and have a look

the clutch cover is on the side with the kick start right? if so how do you get the kick start off

my 96 i had a few years ago was jumping out of 3rd all the time, so had the cases split, and it was the shift star, replaced it, and all good from then on
