I did a mild search and didn't quite find the answers I was looking for. I do 95% trail riding. What would be a good suspension set up for that? Like would +3 a arms be too much? Long travel?

I always thought +3 arms would be too much for the trails I ride, but a good deal came along I couldn't pass up.
I'm tight in a few spots on the trails, but the stability was worth it.
+3+1 arms and a +3 swinger is a good set-up, no long travel needed unless you find a deal on longer shocks before buying arms

I mainly ride enduro bikes, so most of my trails are where I'd expect to put a bike.

My son widened his Blaster but I like mine stock width for several reasons:
1) fits in the tight spots
2) less bothered by terrain angle
3) less kickback on the bars when I hit something with a wheel (saves thumbs and wrists)
4) Less likely to get hung up on the belly
5) steers straighter in mud and water

With it narrow you have to get your butt up off the seat and put your weight in your feet.
Raising the handlebar and lowering the pegs really help to do this.

I loved having +3 everywhere. but our trails were wide enough to drive a rzr at full speed (or so some thought...)

shocks is where its at though! Get some works or elkas
