Well hopefully trading the old honda atc200 three wheeler for a Yamaha Blaster.

The blaster has a push bar, nerf bars and a pipe on it that I know of. He says it is an 03 but it has the new style hood which I thought was only 04+ Is it possible he changed it out? I am gonna look at the brakes and see if they are hydro or not.

Does this sound like a good trade to you guys? The threewheeler never gets used anyway.

thats an awesome trade !!!!!!
03+ started the new hood and hydro's

O ok thanks for clearing that up...Once I get it I am gonna do all the maitenance and delete oil injection if it hasn't been done yet. I will probably check jetting as well which means I am gonna be asking for help on that once I know what all is done to it.

Hopefully its ported otherwise it will be getting sent to Ken O'Connor when I get the money

Wow! What a sucker! Trading a Blaster for an old ATC 200. Give me his number. I have some stuff I want to trade with this guy.lol.( not talking about the blaster).

Haha yeah I offered him the trade and didn't expect a response and he came back asking if I could add some cash on top so now it's gonna be the threewheeler plus $400 which is still a good deal in my book based off the mods and the fact that this will be cheaper than stock ones are going for around here. Not to mention I get rid of the threewheeler.

Well I just found out that the blaster has a wiseco piston...not sure of size, dg exhaust (is this any good?), and supposedly fox suspension all the way around (I assume this is good but I don't see anyone talk about it.

Ok so just got detailed pics and it does indeed have fox front suspension. Problem is the a arms were cut and welded to make them fit which means they need to be replaced.

If I measure the shock length, can anyone make me custom a arms for the shocks?

Post some pics of the arms. Unless they're a hack job with birdshit welds they are probably fine. Several on here have done it, at least one offers it as an economical alternative. I plan on doing mine here in the future. Try to get some info about them from the owner.

Got pictures....here are the two of the a arms and one of the whole quad. There are a couple things that probably need to be redone or have work done but the a arms are my biggest concern.

Wow, that's......... special. Like the shocks, fear the a-arms.

I make custom a-arms. Chromoly material, made to fit virtually any shock under 17" in length, replacable ball joints (big plus over extended stockers IMO), and replacement tie rods.

Also, something doesn't look exactly right..... I don't *THINK* that's a DG headpipe. The DG headpipes have a smaller diameter header section and don't diverge nearly as quickly. It may have a DG silencer on it, but that looks like a FMF headpipe. Also, DG's are raw finish usually coated black, not nickel coated like the FMF's.

Well if it is an fmf that would be good.

I do fear the a arms but I do nothave moeny for yours. How much do yours typically run?

That's EXACTLY the kind I wouldn"t ride on :o My guess on the shocks is that they are off a Polaris sled. They and Arctic Cat use Fox a lot, and Cats are usually green :D When you get them off get a length on them, cl of eye to eye. Shoot me a PM if you're looking to get rid of them. :D I:I

I was thinking something similar but the springs aren't very thick on those Fox's. Generally, the snomo shocks are setup to handle more weight aren't they?

tumblingtwerp, PM sent about it.

I would worry about them a arms to. The added peace doesn't look to bad if your not jumping but I would be more worried about the ball joints seeing there angle was not corrected .
