Does the TORS box on top of the carb (the one with the idle adjust on it and where the throttle cable gos in to, with the spring and needle in it ) have anything to do with the bike idling?

Yes. The big flat head screw is the idle screw. Idle screws are installed to adjust the idle. That's why there called idle screws.

so if the idle adjust isnt having an effect/working replacing that box should fix the problem?

Yes, if its still hooked up. The big flat head screw on top of the TORS ( under your seat ) is your idol screw. Find a happy medium by adjusting both your air mix screw on your carb and the idol screw on top of the TORS

ok what is the easiest and best way to clean the carb? like do i need to buy cleaner?

If you unplugged/removed your TORS and need to adjust your idle, you may need to buy a TORS delete kit. I unplugged my TORS and my blaster idles fine. You may want to try cleaning your choke, and or your whole carb. I had idling problems before and cleaned my choke and all of my jets in my carb and now she idles good. Sometimes she needs to warm up for 30 seconds to a minute before consistently idling.

um how do you adjust it at the thumb throttle? but like it idles when it first turns on but after its warm it wont... could it be flooding?

I personally use Gumout carb cleaner with the power jet nozzle, depending in how dirty the carb is some people boil or soak their carbs and jets in hot water. I never let my carb get that dirty so the gumout and some pipe cleaners always work great for me.

um im not sure .. really im new at working on ATVs this is my first one iv had it 3 months.. but how would i know? and what is the jetting?

Sounds like your choke could be dirty/clogged. It should idle with your choke closed ) pushed in ) and should die when you open your choke ( pull it all the way out ). I use to have to keep my choke open for my blaster to idle and pushing it in would cause it to die. Clean your choke really good and your choke system/circuit should run properly

oh boy, I suggest you go read all the stickies at the top of all topics of the forums. That will give you lots of help. Some of the stickies are in my signature.

um im not sure .. i dont even know what the jets are.. and how can i see if there right? im new at working on ATVs this is my first and iv had it for 3 months...

Start by looking thru this^^^ Don't know if it covers carb cleaning. You really need to start reading threads on this forum. When you clean carb you need to take it completely apart, including pilot jet, spraying all holes and parts with cleaner, then blowing with compressed air, set float height on assembling it. Myself I prefer Berrymans carb dip, but you can't put plastic or rubber in it.
