Tors Stripped

Thanks for the help so far

I got it running I:I :-[

But, the tors where it threads on to the top of the carb is stripped both on the carb and tors

Do I need to replace the carb and get a tors delete with a new cap and cable

Or is their a repair kit I can get

not sure what a cores delete is
but just get a new cap and cable for your carb.
and ditch the tors.

Damn, if both are stripped, then yeah, you will need either a completely different carb and cable (like a Keihin PWK28 with an aftermarket/tors delete style cable) or do a TORS delete cap and cable kit with a different stock carb.

BTW I have a carb body I could sell you for $15 shipped. It is missing a couple do-dads like the choke assy, but the cap threads are in good condition. PM me if interested.

The threads are almost gone so I think I need a new carb and cable kit

Should I go to a larger carb if it all stock or should I go with the same size

you can go to a 28mm pwk, but you dont wan to go too much bigger for a stock engine.

Then buy a cap and calbe off ebay and should be good to go?

ya that could, but you will need to swap some things over.

Do you think I should go larger or is the stock carb going to be ok

My daughter who will be riding it is 5'4" maybe 130lbs dripping wet

She has been riding since she was four

She has been riding a suzuki z250, but know wants to have a clutch

I have the blaster so I thought i would start her on that

What do ypu think?

i had the same problem. i orderd a 28mm keihin carb with motion pro throttle cable .

u dont gotta get a cap if ur getting a different carb . u only need a cap if ur getting another stock carb

Good luck man. If you can find a whole carb real cheap go with that, it is less hassle. If you decide you want that carb body, let me know. There is nothing wrong with it, I just sold parts off of it to guys who needed stuff, like you. Everything off your current carb will fit on it.
