So my blaster still has the TORS on it and I'm sure everyone is going to say to remove it and I agree.

My question is what does the TORS do I. Terms of effecting throttle response/ rev down.

Sometimes when I let off the throttle at certain RPMs when it revs down it kind of jolts the wheeler. Almost like it jerks because it gets a shot of fuel or something. It is hard to explain. I was wondering if this could
Be caused by the TORS.

I'm not exactly sure if the TORS would do that. Pretty new to these things myself. There are alot of threads on here about it tho. From what I've read it is Throttle OverRide Safety, basically kills the throttle if something trips it.

Jerkyness when feathering the throttle can be caused by an air leak somewhere in the motor or attatched parts such as pipe or carby/reed block.

A cracked and leaky carb boot will return similar symptoms.

It is not that it gets a shot of fuel, it could be getting an extra shot of air which can be disasterous.

i have a small air leak where the pipe attach's to the exhaust and have the same problem sometimes.

A leaky header pipe can cause havoc, not only will it allow oily black goop to dribble down the motor, it will cause a lean mixture by not allowing the expelled fuel charge in the exhaust pipe to be rammed back into the combustion chamber.

All 2 stroke motors must be leak free, both in and out.
