TORS eliminator...problem with cable ferrule?

I bought a TORs delete kit, but there is no way in heck the cable ferrule would fit throught the idle adjustment fitting that screws into the carb cap. What gives here? Am I supposed to feed a raw cable end through it all and then crimp/solder a new ferruel on? If so, where would a source the new ferrule?

you don't put the idle adjustment in the cap, it goes in the slide body...

Ok, not the idle adjustment. Its the screw in cable adapter that goes into the top of the cap. The idle adjustment needle is separate...

Does anyone have some pics? It really shouldnt be too hard. I understand that cap goes on carb, and cable goes into slide. It should be stupid simple but I'm missing something.

I'm also using an aftermarket throttle cable with a different ferrule on it that will have to be modded to work. The stock cable end doesnt work either though...
