You'll need a good pipe! Put the stock one in a box on the shelf. A good set of reeds like VForce 4 reeds, a quality air filter,and proper jetting! You can start with the stock carb, which will work great, and perhaps step it up later.

If you want to do it up, have it ported too!

I still prefer a stock ported cylinder. That's just me though.

There is one right way to do it and dozens of wrong ways, so go carefully.

Inspect the crank. If you have to split the cases, replace the counter balance shaft bearings.
