I think it is need of a new rebuild. When I go to start it it has no compresion. After a bout 10-15 kicks it will start but you have to keep the throttle 3/4 pinned. Then once and awhile it will back fire when trying to start.

I think its time to get that 240 running. lol Well before this started to happen The motor did lock up on me but I was able to save, but the compression went down. I have ran it like that for a month.
well this is going 2 sound really dumb. I was going to take the top end off and the head bolts where loose. I snug it up and it started on the 2 kick. lol
yup........make sure you torque em down to the right spec, i believe on ablaster they are 18 foot pounds...check your manual..ya dont want to warp your head, or haev em come loose again
