I got my top end back today!!!!! I'm going to be putting her back together in the next few days . I have a New Gasket Set and a New Top end Bearing. New head Studs and Exhaust Studs . My question is do I use a gasket sealer on the base gasket? and what kind should be used? like high temp copper? and what about the head gasket? any sealer? I didn't find any remnants of sealer on the head gasket when I took it all apart .
The machine shop said to break it in at a ratio of 24:1 , that sound right?
Also when I assemble it , coat the cylinder and the piston skirt with 2 stroke oil ? if I'm missing anything , LMK .....

you shouldn't need any sealer on the head or base gasket

yes, coat the cylinder with 2 stroke oil

i would break it in at the ratio that you'll be running it with

yes, coat the cylinder and piston with a light coating of 2 stroke oil don't forget about the wrist pin bearing, and give the rest of the bearings a little lube too
