Toomey Pipe questions.

Ok, Well, I won the auction for that Toomey I bid on, I have a couple of questions about it. I know brand new it comes with a 310 jet and a Uni Air Filter, my question is, For the mods I have (Top-End bored .20 over, Boyesen Super Stock Reeds, and running 32:1 with Bel Ray MC1) and temperature varying from 25°F to 45°F during winter and my elevation at about 800ft. above sea level. What jet size should I start with? I hate wasting a good ol' plug just to see my jetting is rich or lean.

Bump up your piolet 1 size, and your main to 320 thats my best geuss.

that sometimes is the only way to do it...good thing there cheap...

yeah plugs are cheap! the 310 might work but a 320 would b your best bet

Plugs are what $2-$3? Your going to do it, do it right. Grab a few of em because chances are your going to foul a couple before you get it just right.

Plugs only run like $4 each around here...

i ran a 340 in mine when i had the stock carb..never touched the pilot

Forgot to add this but I would run this with the airbox lid off! But only when I'm riding in dry conditions!
