Toomey Pipe Help plz

hey guys i my buddy is selling a toomey b1 for cheap and he only has the pipe and silencer. Would it be a good idea to buy it with out the air box vents or jet ect? thanks for info

For cheap? Yeah, get it. You can always get the other stuff through Toomey.

the vents are dumb just take the lid off works better that way.....you can get a uni filter off ebay or run the one you have and toomey recomends a 310 main jet....but do a plug chop to make sure your jetting is right

Yeah, the biggest thing is to make sure you have a good clean airfilter (any one will do, just make sure it's clean and keep it clean!! that way it flows the same), and the proper jetting. If you pop this on and don't re-jet you're risking a blown motor. Jetting is mad easy. Don't bother with a kit, just buy a handfull of them at a shop or stealership or jetsrus and start some trial and error testing!! Go big first, and if it bogs too much, go down from there.

For jetting your Blaster there is alot involved. Like YB stated Tommey calls for a 310 main jet. So I would start there and do a plug chop and see where you stand from there on your jetting.

start at 310 do a plug chop and I guess just go from there. and i get my jets at Jets R Us
