toomey jetting

hi, a while ago i bought a used toomey exhaust system with a trenga 30mm carb. just recently i read in the tommey website that it should turn blue if the jetting is perfect, but mine is turning yellow..so i tore apart the carb and saw that the main jet is a 155 keihin..i was wondering if it is too big or too small for the carb. thanx

that is way to small, it should be about a 300 main or more.

Are you thinking mikuni jet numbers?? Keihin has a different jet numbering scheme.

Plug chop is the only way to tell for sure. Do it!

the thing is that im trying to get my bike running first before i ride it...i know its kindof a noob question but how do you do a plug chop?
