Hey everyone. First post here. I came across a really good deal on a running 94 Blaster, only real problem is a leaking tire. My girlfriend and I have always wanted a quad and I think it would be perfect for her but maybe a bit too small for me. She's 5'6" 110, Im 6'4" but only weigh 165. The current owner is 6'5" and 200 plus and he says its no problem for him. Obviously not ideal, but he said he gets along fine with it. Whats the opinion here? You guys think I should grab it or no? Not worried about power, more worried about fitting on it in semi comfort.

I think you and your girlfriend would have a lot of fun on the blaster together. It is a smaller machine, but there is a lot of bigger guys on this site and none of them seem to have a problem. Modifications are fairly cheap and easy so you could easily make it suit your needs better without having thousands dumped into it. I say go for it!

Yeah Im just going to get it. Im currently waiting for the guy to get back to me so I can paypal him the money. Ive been looking into the Blasters all day and all Ive heard is good stuff. Fun, easy to work on , etc. Im excited now, I hope it works. I told him I wanted to send him a deposit to hold it and then he busts out that his neice was thinking of buying it as well. He put it on Craigslist but Im not entirely sure he wanted to sell it so he might be second guessing. I hope not.

Well good luck with the sale man. The good news is that if the deal falls through, Blaster's are everywhere and you'll find one again in no time at all. Like Freek said, keep us posted and let us know what goes on with the deal.

Sales a go, so thats awesome. Just gotta make the trip to go get it. Ill have to post up some pics once I get it home and clean it. Currently has purple plastics 8-| but Im not too worried about that.

...and 6'4 at 165lbs wow, thats one tall skinny dude there lol...
LOL, yeah tell me about it. Unfortunately I had a rough child hood. Drug addict mother that never fed us. Moved back with my father and shot up about 6 inches in a year but Ive been the same wieght for about fifteen years. Oh well, $*it happens, right? At least theres not a lot of weight to slow me down!

You're going to feel kind of cramped on it. I had a blaster for 3 months, but got rid of it because it was kind of slow and mostly I was cramped on it and I'm 6'3. You need to start hitting up the buffet and lifting some haha.

Got it to my shop today and me and my girl fit on it comfortably so thats a plus. Only problem is the rear shock is blown but other than that its mint. I:I Little thing turns on a dime compared to my friends 400 ex. Overall Im really happy with the purchase.
