Hello i am currentley on a yz80 but they arnt vety good on sand tracks or hill climbing or state trail riding(its illegal) would i like a blaster for doing that stuff and riding tracks and fields and maybe in the snow

A blaster is much better in the snow and alot funner...... but I would personally stay on the yz80.

Also why would state trail riding be illegal? thats designated land to ride...... unless your riding and bicycle paths it should be open to everyone.

no on the atv routes then i can ride those if i got a blaster it would be my first quad im 14 and like 125 pds. would it be good for jumping and riding for me

#1 you came on a forum dedicated to yamaha blasters what do you think the answers is going to be? Of COURSE you'd LOVE a blaster! They make roses shoot out your butt and bring you all the money and women in the world... to say we're biased simply is an understatement.

#2 riding on state land is an offense (at least here) punishable by impoundment. If you like your ride and would like to keep your ride, stay off of the state gameland.

#3 The blaster in it's stock form is mediocre for jumping and hill climbing. The blaster was the bottom of the line (cheapest) sport quad from yamaha and the suspension choices show their price minded choices. They cheaped out...

#4 yamaha blasters offer a LOT of aftermarket parts and can be made very good at jumping and hill climbing. The "normal" (not truly race based) aftermarket parts are cheaper than for other quads and maintenance on a blaster may make you want to pull your hair out at times but usually won't drain your wallet dry... Some basic aftermarket parts (pipe, carb, tires, shocks, and a good port job) will put you in a range where you are having the most fun for the least money. You cannot get into a 2 stroke sport quad cheaper than a blaster....

#5 we have a good community here and we'll try to help you out with anything you have questions on. if you do choose a blaster there's tons of help!
