Tires

I have 2004 blaster with stock tires and want to change them for razors but I was told the size of those tires would make my blaster slower instead of faster is that true? whats a good tire I would like something like razors I like the style yhe stock ones are bulky and uglu looking .

you can get 20'' tires with 14/40 gearing is good

it will barely even make a differnece in your top speed not even noticeable. the stock blaster tires a 21 inches which means more rolling mass covering more ground than a smaller tire therfore the increase in top speed. a smaller tire 18 inches for example has less rolling mass than a 21 inch tire therfore reaches its top speed quicker. so basically bigger tire more top speed smaller tire more acceleration

^^^^^ Yup, that's pretty popular on here. If you don't go Razr, Kenda Klaws are also pretty popular with people on here. Never rode them myself so I can't tell you how they are.

i have 20" razors and love them. yes they sit a little lower but not much as the razors do not compress as much as the stock tires. they did not change my acceleration/top speed much but they did make a huge difference in the handling and traction departments. you could also use a 22" tire as a few have on the forum, which would be taller than stock (higher ground clearance and taller overall gearing).
