On my Blaster I have 20x11-10 Holeshot XCR's, They are almost worn out and I'm in need of new tires. I wanna get the Holeshot series again but I wasnt very impressed with the XCR's, which other Holehot tires can I get?
I have no experience with the holeshots but I do with Maxxis. I have the razr series and have had the cross series. I was happy with the crosses and love the razrs. This may not help our question about holeshots but I just was lettting you know your not alone on the forum.
Thanks bro. What I really want is a tire that will hold up for a long time. As long as they have the same pattern as the Holeshots, Razr's would be fine.....
Anytime. Its wierd because usually this site is really good about answering any questions on the spot. And the Maxxis tires have help up really well for me. And I ride really aggressivly (which is probably why my blaster is broken). You should be plenty happy with them.
well dude, it would be easier to look it up your self at rockymountain.com they have tons to choose from, as far as your tire size goes 20x11-10 means its 20 inches tall by 11 inches wide and its a 10 inch wheel. if you wanted to go to a 20x10-10 you would be an inch narrower which would still work, i would look for a hard compound tire it might last longer.
Ya you can pretty much change the first 2 numbers a little maybe one up or down but the last number being rim size must stay the same unless you get different rims. I beleive I run 18x10x10. I will warn you, going to an 18 inch tall tire will affect gearing. It will have alot more torque than the 20's but have less top speed also. But I love the torque.
for holeshots the gncc tire is the way to go its way lighter than the earlier holeshots and has a more agrresive lug pattern im not sure if its available in a 10 inch wheel size though. i know mine are on 9 inch wheels
i just bought 18x10-10 tires and wheels (holeshots) and i am happy with them so far, but i havent ridden any trails or rocky areas yet so i cant help you on that
