Tire/Speed question

I am sitting here wondering if i go with a taller rear tire will I lose or gain speed and what about the torque aswell?

Gain speed, loose torque!

You can get back what you loose by sprocket changes!

i run 22's only for ground clearance purposes, i ran a 14 tooth with my old 20's when i went to 22's i put back a 13 tooth.

cool thanks alot I could afford to lose some torque imma try these other tires and see how I like it

you not really going to loose torque if you drop a sprocket size to compentsate for the extra diameter of the tire! what you looses on the swings you gain on the round-a-bouts!

i ended up with the exact same gearing with 22;s and a 13t sprocket as i had with 20's and a 14t sprocket...that calculator tells me so!

I have 18s on her right now going to putting some 21s

You are going to notice some more top speed, but it will take a little longer to get there.

You may have to use the gears more.
