hi. i have a 01 blaster, just finished building from ground up..all motor work and mods done my self.some of the stuff i did at work over the last 6 or so months..well now its a stroked (+3) with a 240 big bore, mild port and polish, full dg pipe and silencer, custom oil block off plate (cnc milled) custom oil pump cover (cnc milled billet alum.) polished, stainless steel allen head bolts through out entire bike.banshee front spindels with hydro front brakes, tors fully eliminated, idol kit, custom alum air box with full alum. pipeing, vf3's w/ spacer... my question is what would the be the pros and cons of timeing advance. and if i do how far should i go?

+4 is the most i've seen anyone go, do a search in the diy section here, theres a good write up on how to do it and what it does for ya, and just my opinion but that pipe is really holding you back from realizing the full potential of what sounds to be a potent build, you'd benefit greatly from an f/7, power pro's, shearer, lrd pipe,
from the general consensus around here that dg pipe isnt flowing much more than stock

hey thanks allot. just picked up the pipe cause i didnt have much to spend at the time this bike has been my money pit for just about a year and its finaly all coming together.was plannind on new pipe round tax time...lol my fav time of year lol
