I am rebuilding the blaster from my childhood and i decided to take most of the moving parts off to re-grease and clean. My tie rods came off very easily but i cant get the nuts back on to the bottom end of the rods where they connect to the wheel hubs. The bolt spins and i cant get past the hole for the pin. Any help or tricks would really be appriciated.

take them back off, run the threads on a wire wheel, cover the threads in pb blaster, push the boot down and vise grip the stud, work the nut on and off the stud until it spins freely. Thats how I did mine. Be careful not to bust the boot.
if u have a ball joint separater for a car or something wedge it inbetween there and pry up just a lil bit and the nut should go on.mine did the same thing
