Im having a problem with my 2004 blaster, it idles, but when i give it gas it bogs out and floods, ive cleaned the carb and air filter, and tried takent the airbox lid off, and nothing helps it, my friends is currently having the same problem, could it be the reed valves?

have you checked your plug lately?

yeah, its a new plug, its getting fuel and air, it seems to be constantly flooding but still running, it idles good, but as soon as i give it throttle it bogs down. i took my reed valves out today and one has a slight gap between the reed and the cage, could this be causing the problem?

how are the reeds? what jetting and wha tneedle postion is the air filter clean goiod fuel good spark ? good compression?

is your parking brake on? If it is it won't allow the engine to rev on the newer blaster's. Unplug the parking brake wires and see if it'll rev

i removed the parking brake lever and cable a few moments before it started acting up, could that make it think the parking brake is engaged?

the reeds have a slight gap between the reeds and the cage, the float is clean, and the jetting and needles are clean and correct

If you removed the parking brake and didn't unplug it, thats whats causing it. Unplug the wires and it should run like normal

i have the same problem should i be unplugging all tors wires and brain or just the wires on the ebrake and i also heard unplug the wires on the ebrake and connect them?
